Terms of delivery

General:

Customers are obliged to familiarise themselves with these terms and to accept them before placing an order. Customers must be adults. All product prices include value-added tax. The products do not include shipping costs which will be added according to the chosen method of delivery. The shipping costs include processing, packaging, and shipping. We use recycled materials for our packages as much as possible, meaning that the package you receive may look a bit “funny”. We will not hand over your contact details to anyone else nor will we use them for anything except the delivery of your order.


Placing an order and order confirmations:

Orders are placed mainly by means of the shopping cart. You can also place orders via e-mail or by telephone. Contact details are at the bottom of the page. You do not need to be registered to place an order. After placing an order in our online shop, you will receive an automatic order confirmation in your e-mail. If for some reason you do not receive a confirmation, make sure that you have entered the correct e-mail address. In other cases, get in touch via e-mail or by telephone. Contact details are at the bottom of the page. Make sure that your contact details are correct before placing your order so that you can be reached if necessary. Our standard delivery time is from 1 to 3 weeks, excepting Christmas time which is subject to separate announcement.


Payment methods:

Online bank:

The invoicing service used for online bank payment is provided by Paytrail Oy, which is entered as the recipient on your bank statement or card bill. This service works just like traditional online payment for the customer, meaning that you will use your online bank details for making the payment.

Payment service provider:

The invoicing and payment service provider is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) together with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj is entered as the payment recipient on the bank statement or card bill, and they make the payment to the seller. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution. What if it was easier to make online purchases?

Paytrail can spare you the trouble of entering your delivery and payment information every time you make an online purchase. Register and connect your card data (debit or credit) to your user account only once. In the future you can shop at thousands of online shops with a single account. The service is free.

How it works

1. Go to the payment screen of the online shop. Create your free Paytrail account when paying, use your bank details to identify yourself, and proceed to pay.

2. Add a payment card (debit or credit). It is safe to store your card details and to pay.

The details are automatically saved into the Paytrail service. You can sign in to your user account whenever at Paytrail.com where you can see your purchase history and manage your user information. In the future you can verify your purchases with a single account in thousands of online shops.

Collector Invoice/Instalment:

With the Collector Invoice/Instalment service you can pay for purchases of up to 5000 €.

You will get no less than 30 and up to 60 days of interest-free* payment time for your Collector Invoice. This means that your invoice is due on the last day of the calendar month following the date of purchase. (* Payment term interest is 0 %, an invoicing fee of 2.95 € is added onto the first invoice)

You can pay off the entire invoiced total on the due date or select instalments of 1 to 36 months. Instalments are automatically started when you pay the minimum instalment entered on the invoice. You can also pay more than the minimum or the entire total sum at once.

The instalment interest is 1.6 % per month, corresponding to a nominal annual interest of 19.20 %. A monthly account management fee of 2.95 € is added onto the invoice, meaning that the actual annual interest for a 1000 € purchase is 21.3 %.

When selecting Collector Invoice/Instalment, you will receive the products you ordered before having to pay for them. This makes the processing of replacements and returns more flexible and safer.

Anyone can use the Collector Invoice/Instalment, provided that they are at least 20 years of age and have a clean credit rating. We will check your credit rating when the order is placed. An overdue fee of 5 € plus a monthly overdue interest of 1.6 % will be collected for overdue payments and unpaid invoices.

Advance payment by bank transfer: You will receive the invoice via e-mail, and we will ship your order as soon as the money arrives in our account. It may take 1 to 2 business days for the payment to be processed. If you cannot see the invoice within one month, make sure that you have entered the correct e-mail address. Payment upon collection (cash): If you collect your order yourself at Liinakko in Pietarsaari, you can only pay cash. The delivery costs in this case are 0 €. Please let us know that you are coming by e-mail or telephone so that we know to be there. Contact details are at the bottom of the page.

Delivery Methods:

Please note that we do not send package outside the EU!


Letter: Orders valued at less than 50 € are delivered by letter or postal package. Letters are delivered to your home. Shipping costs 4.90 € (in Finland), 15.00 € (inside EU).

Package: Orders valued at more than 50 € are delivered by package which must be collected at your nearest post office. Shipping costs 8.90 € (in Finland), 25.00 (inside EU).

You will receive an arrival notification to your telephone, specifying when and where you can collect your package. You must enter your telephone number when placing the order. You can track your package by using the shipment tracking ID sent to your e-mail when the order ships. Go to posti.fi to track your delivery.

Collect at Liinakko, Pietarsaari: When collecting your delivery you can pay cash. You can also pay in advance in the online shop. When your order is ready to be collected, we will send you an e-mail. Please get in touch before collecting, so we know to be there for you. Shipping costs 0 €. Contact details are at the bottom of the page.

Returning or replaving orders:

All of our products have a 14 day return period pursuant to the Consumer Protection Act, and the customer is obliged to inspect their product during this time. The product must be in its original condition. The cancellation right does not apply to products made or modified according to customer specifications.


ALWAYS get in touch with Liinakko first before returning or replacing an order! The customer is liable to pay the costs incurred by the return of a product. In case of a returned product, please include your contact details and bank account number in the shipment. We will pay the order costs to your account once we have determined that the returned products are in order and resellable.

In case of a replacement product, Liinakko will not collect shipment fees for the new product. If your replacement product is more expensive than your earlier order, we will invoice the difference to your e-mail and deliver the new product when we see the payment has been made. If your replacement product is cheaper, we will pay the difference to you.

If the product you received is faulty, we will pay back the product price and all incurred shipment costs. If your product has been damaged in transport, please get in touch with us and file a reclamation at the post office.

NOTE! Failing to collect a package does not constitute a return. In this case we will collect all postage costs incurred by the return and the shipment of a possible replacement.

Changing orders and additional orders:

If you want to change your order or make an additional order, it is best to do this by telephone as soon as possible. Contact details are at the bottom of the page. If your order has not shipped yet, no additional fees will be collected for a modified order.
